We are looking for a Scrum Master to join an Agile development team to facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, and promote Scrum values and practices. The incumbent will apply a deep understanding of Agile methodology and assist the team deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Ensure the team applies Scrum principles and practices to achieve target outcomes.
- Act as a coach, mentor, and servant leader for the team.
- Remove impediments to progress and help the team focus on delivering value.
- Promote continuous improvement and foster a positive team culture.
- Manage each project’s scope and timeline and work with relevant stakeholders to manage backlogs and new requests.
Requirements and Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology, particularly Scrum techniques and artifacts.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, delivering high-quality software products.
- Well developed problem solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and remove obstacles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to act as a coach and mentor.
- Familiarity with software development.
